Sigmaintell of China released data on LCD TV panels in 2016 and the data was reported by Digitimes. The report identifies total sales of 258 million panels for TV with a total area of 130 million m², up 8% because average panel sizes have increased by 2.1%. 32″ panels were the biggest segment at 30%, with 39″ – 45″ at slightly less. 55″ has now reached 12.4% and 65″ is still a relatively small segment at 3%. Digitimes quoted the data by brand as detailed in the table.
