Chinese STB maker ZTE has won the contract to supply Turkish DTH and cable operator Turksat with a digital STB. Turksat hopes that the DVB and OTT hybrid solution will provide a more stable, clearer and reliable experience for its users, allowing the company to help to develop the country’s digital TV industry.
Turksat has more than 1.5 million subscribers in Turkey.
