The Spanish government has extended the deadline for digital migration to the 31st March 2015. Originally the switch was set for the 31st December 2014, but the government bowed to pressure from industry stakeholders. As many as 4 million Spaniards could have lost their TV signals if the switch had gone ahead as planned, it was thought.
