SoftAtHome said that its software is being used in customer premises equipment (CPE) from Swisscom, more precisely in the Internet-Box 2 home gateway. The box has seven antennae for otimised Wi-Fi and the box supports the 11ac Wave 2 technology. SoftAtHome’s SOP platform supports G.Fast on copper for up to 500Mbps.

SoftAtHome will be at CES. At IBC, it was demonstrating using the IoT features of its SOP platform to control Philips colour LED lighting in synchronisation with Dolby Atmos audio and the content on a TV.
