Sling TV has created a new player that allows content to be viewed using the Google Chrome browser on Windows or Mac-based systems. The player is the first browser-based implementation. As well as allowing streaming, the app allows settings to be modified as well as parental controls.Additional features planned include DVR and a grid-based programme guide.
