E Ink Holdings reported its FY17 Q2 result with net profit of NT$798.0 million ($26.3 million) and consolidated revenues of NT$1.4 billion for July 2017 ($48.1 million). The monthly revenue was up by 19.8% on a monthly basis and by 9.9% on a yearly basis.

The company expects the shipments of electronic shelf labels (ESLs) to continue to expand in the second half of 2017, buoyed by orders from Amazon, the Alibaba Group and Bravo YH of China-based jd.com. Sales of the company’s e-book readers will also gain momentum as these devices have reached the markets of China, India and other emerging Asian countries.
