ShowMax clocked up over twice as many viewers on PC devices as Netflix on 15th February, the day of its first broadcast in Poland.
Data produced by PBI/Gemius, shows that ShowMax had 172,000 viewers who had 756,000 opens and watched 13,353 hours of content; whereas Netflix had 80,000 users, 196,000 opens and 4,620 hours of viewing.
Netflix has been available in Poland since the beginning of 2016 and introduced localisation last autumn.
