RiTDisplay is to boost its capacity for PMOLED displays according to Digitimes which was quoting the company’s CEO, DC Wang, at an investors’ conference. The firm’s capacity has increased from 15,000 to 18,000 substrates and will go to 25,200 substrates by the end of the year. The company believes its has ‘no substantial competitors’ in the sub 2″ segment. It will stay away from AMOLED because of the investment needed.
