A report by Reuters claims that the European Commission is set to approve the merger of the Dutch operations of Liberty Global (Ziggo) and Vodafone (Liberty and Vodafone (Finally) Go Ahead).
People familiar with the matter said that the companies will win antitrust approval after offering ‘minor concessions’. The new company will be the second-largest telecoms operator in the Netherlands, after KPN.
