Analytik & Messtechnik GmbH Chemnitz (AMC) is a German company that has just launched a new 12.1″ industrial panel PC. The TPC-1282T features five-wire resistive touch and IP66 protection on its front.
AMC has designed its new PC to be modular. An internal mini PCIe connector enables the use of AMC’s ‘iDoor’ modules, enabling system integrators to expand the unit’s functionality. For example, new I/O ports or additional RAM can be added. In addition to the iDoor port, the TPC-1282T features HDMI, USB 3.0, RS232 and RS232/422/485 slots.
The 12.1″ display has 1024 x 768 resolution. Viewing angles are 160°/140°, with a 700:1 contrast ratio and 600 cd/m² of brightness. The PC runs Windows Embedded 7/8/10 on a Core i5 CPU, with 4GB of RAM.
