Philips Monitors have 1440 Line Resolution

Philips added two new monitors, the 34″ 349X7FJEW curved (21:9 – 3440 x 144) and 276E8FJAB 27″ WQHD (16:9 – 2560 x 1440) flat monitor.

The 349X7FJEW uses a VA LCD with 300 cd/m² and 117.3% of sRGB/99.8% of NTSC. Response time is quoted at 4ms and native contrast is 3,000:1. AMD FreeSync is supported.Curve radius is 1800mm. The monitor is digital only and has DisplayPort 1.2 and HDMI 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 inputs.There are dual 5W speakers. Features include low blue, PiP and a USB hub. Cost is £759 including tax. ($790 + tax) and shipping starts in April.

In contrast, the 276E8FJAB uses an IPS LCD with 350 cd/m² and 132% of sRGB/114% of NTSC. Response time is quoted at 4ms and native contrast is lower at 1,000:1. The monitor has an analogue VGA port and has DisplayPort 1.2 and HDMI 1.4 inputs.There are dual 3W speakers. Features include low blue. Cost is £339 including tax. ($352 + tax) and shipping starts in May.

Both monitors feature three narrow edge designs.

Philips 276E8FJAB
