Qualcomm Incorporated reported a 3% year on year increase in turnover in the final quarter of the year at $6.7 billion and 1 26% YoY increase in net profit to reach $1.9 billion. It has been claimed that Acer will launch an 11.6″ touchscreen Chromebook in the first half of 2015. Taiwan-based supply chain sources have said that the product will be convertible; users will be able to turn the cover and turn the device into a ‘tablet’. Quanta will produce the new Chromebook.
