Lenovo will begin to produce wearable devices ‘soon’, say Asian sources. Fenda 295, in China, says that it has been chosen by Lenovo as a supplier for the vendor’s 301. Sina.com claims that the wearable is a wristband and could be showcased at CES in January.
Sources in the Asian supply chain say that several tablet vendors are reducing the number of models to be launched next year. Asus, Samsung and Lenovo are all likely to cut plans, the sources said, due to the difficulty of making a profit in the space.

Between 40% and 50% of orders for Apple’s A9 processor will go to TSMC, say Asian sources. The figure is believed to represent all of Apple’s A9 chip orders for the next iPad tablet, while Samsung will manufacture the iPhone version.
