LCD TV OEM Amtran will produce less than 10% of Vizio’s TVs going forward, say sources in Asia. Vizio has instead shifted its business to Foxconn, TPV and Wistron, while Amtran is focusing on supplying JVC and Sharp.

Wuaki.tv, the Spanish OTT service, is planning to expand to 15 countries by the end of next year. The service is currently available in Spain, France, Germany and the UK.
Dutch cable provider Ziggo had a market share of 62.5% in Q3’13. While the company’s total TV customers dropped by 18,000, to 2.76 million, the total homes passed in the Netherlands also fell. Because of this, Ziggo’s market share remained steady QoQ. Of the company’s subscribers, 2.3 million are digital homes (rising 13,000).
