Samsung is reported to have closed its flagship Samsung Experience Store at the Westfield Stratford City shopping centre in London. The company said that its remaining nine Experience Stores in the UK will remain open. Samsung opened the Westfield store in 2013 as a showcase for its TVs, smartphones and tablets.

Touch specialist, TPK Holding, said sales for 2014 were down 18.6% from 2013 at NT$129.5 billion ($4.1 billion). Sales in the final month of the year were flat month on month at NT$13.3 billion ($420 million), though for the fourth quarter, TPK achieved a 21.4% sequential increase in sales at NT$39.6 billion ($1.2 billion).
