Super Bowl 2015 is likely to use up to six UltraHD cameras, according to panelists at last year’s SMPTE conference in Hollywood. The cameras will be used to to zoom and showcase key plays, rather than for general transmissions.
Amazon Instant Video can now be used to stream UltraHD content in Germany, although currently there is only English language content. The app is currently supported by Ultra HD TV sets from Samsung, LG and Sony (2014 models) and users need a 15Mb connection.
