Hannspree Licenses Windows for Micro PC Stick

Hannspree Micro PC HDMI stick

Just one day after Inlighten announced its Argo Windows-based ‘PC’ HDMI stick, Hannspree has followed with a similar product called the Micro PC.

Hannspree’s device runs a fully-licensed version of Windows 8.1 on a 1.33GHz quad-core Intel Atom processor, with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. It will add PC functionality, like email and web browsing, to any HDMI display – although don’t expect to be playing Crysis on it any time soon.

As well as the HDMI output, the stick features USB and micro-USB ports as well as a micro-SD slot, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity. It is on sale now, starting at €150 ex VAT.
