Japan’s Socionext is now sampling a new UltraHD media playback SoC, which supports high-res content at 60fps using HEVC and VP9. The MN2WS03101A is a single chip IC, with built-in HDMI-Tx/Rx. It is compatible with the HEVC Main 10 profile and supports both HDR and wide colour gamut (BT.2020) content.

Matrox Scores Design Win With Exxact Corp
