EE Trials 4G Broadcast in Wembley

EE and partners have demonstrated a 4G Broadcast trial at London’s Wembley Stadium. A custom-built app enabled select viewers in the stadium, during the FA Cup Final last month, to watch a live-stream of the game. Viewers had control of camera angles and replays, as well as access to live game statistics and an interactive function which could be used to ask questions about the game. BBC Sport supplied three live streams for the trial. Qualcomm, Huawei, EVS and Intellicore also worked on the event.
