‘Industry sources’ say that Microsoft has closed its handset manufacturing plants in Beijing and Dongguang. The company is preparing to outsource more work to Taiwanese ODMs, sources said. Production is also expected to be ramped at Microsoft’s plant in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Digital Projection has signed FilmGEAR as its official rental partner in Denmark. The company recently purchased 20 3-chip DLP Titan Super Quads to add to its 16 single-chip DLP M-Vision 930 projectors.
