Six of Spain’s broadcasters, from a group of nine, are emerging as the favourites to be awarded licences to operate new services on the free-to-air DTT platform. The companies named so far are Mediaset, Atresmedia, Group Secuoya, 13TV, Vocento and Real Madrid and the government is expected to allocate the licences by 19th October, with the new services being launched early next year.
