A software update for Sony’s Android TVs (Android TV 5.1.1) has enabled select UltraHD models to receive and process HDR content from USB sources. A later update will add support for streamed HDR content. Other changes include support for Astra’s UltraHD test signal and HEVC over DVB-T.
