Baanto has signed an agreement to develop Shadowsense-powered touchscreens for L-3 Display Systems’ military and commercial aircraft displays. Existing displays will be adapted for avionics use. They will feature five touch points, palm/false touch rejection and gloved touch operation.

Apple and Samsung Claim All Smartphone Profits

Financial services company Cannacord Genuity estimates that Apple took 94% of the smartphone industry’s profits in Q3 – while shipping only 13.5% of the volume. Spanish regulator CNMC has shown pay-TV services in the country added 1.4 million subscribers in the last year. There were 5.4 million subscribers at the end of Q1’15 – a 36% rise from Q1’14. Movistar Plus, the combined entity resulting from the merger of Movistar and Canal Plus, was a significant boost to the market.

The MMZBTP-21.5 conforms to the UL 60601-1 3rd edition medical safety standard, and is designed for use on in operating rooms, on medical carts and in OEM medical systems.
