Acer has announced that Bahamas Telecommunications and Ecuador’s Corporacion Nacional de Telecomunicaciones will now sell its smartphones and wearables in Latin America.
Vizio Predicts “Tenfold” Increase in 4k Content
Matt McRae, CTO of Vizio, has predicted that 2016 will be a bigger year for UltraHD content than any previous one. There has been a “tenfold” increase in the amount of programming available in the last 18 months, and another tenfold increase is predicted over the next 12.

AUO To Boost Capacity by 5% in Q1

Reuters Adds to Apple Rumours
Reuters has added to the rumours about Apple’s plans for iPhone displays. The news agency has reported the rumours that Apple is close to finalising deals with Samsung Display and LG Display for OLED displays for its phones. Reuters quotes Electronics Times and Nikkei as the sources of the rumours.
