Qualcomm Boasts of UltraHD Download Speeds

A new LTE modem chip from Qualcomm enables much faster internet speeds for smartphones: fast enough that a 100GB UltraHD film could be downloaded in less than 15 minutes (network-dependent). The Snapdragon X16 enables download speeds of up to 100Gbps; it is Qualcomm’s sixth-generation LTE chip, based on a 14nm FinFET process.
