NSR’s ‘UltraHD via Satellite, 3rd Edition’ report points to 2016 as a year for the roll out of UltraHD via satellite. The report forecasts more than 785 UltraHD channels by 2025. Gary Klassen, the inventor of Blackberry Messenger, has joined Christie Canada as the director of solutions software. He will focus on growing a development team to expand Christie’s software capabilities, and will be based in Ontario. Klassen was previously the director of architecture and innovation at Blackberry.
