Foxconn-Sharp Deal Falls by $2 Billion

Foxconn is trying to reduce its offer to Sharp by 10% – 20%, we heard last week (Foxconn Seeks to Lower Sharp Value), and sources have now named a figure. The Taiwanese company wants to slash at least ¥245 billion ($2.2 billion) from its bid.

Sources speaking to Reuters said that a deal was likely to be signed this week (beginning 28th March).
