Ocean Doubles Grid Network

Ocean Outdoor has doubled the size of its ‘Grid’ network – a portfolio of full motion city-centre screens – in the UK (Display Monitor Vol 20 No 36). There are now 14 screens in seven cities (London, Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Newcastle and Glasgow) across the country, reaching 15.6 million people each fortnight.

Dish TV Down in Q1

Dish Network has released subscriber results for Q1 2016. The company activated approximately 657,000 gross new pay-TV subscribers, compared to approximately 723,000 in Q1’15. Net Pay-TV subscribers declined approximately 23,000, compared to a gain of approximately 35,000 in Q1’15. Total pay-TV subscribers in Q1’16 were 13.9 million; down from 14 million.

Parade and Samsung Work on eDP OLED Tcon

Parade Technologies is working with Samsung Display, to deliver AMOLED panels for the tablet and notebook markets.
