Rovi corp. reported Q1 2016 net loss of $17.7 million, up from $15.5 million (net loss) in the previous year. Turnover for the period was $118.4 million, down 12% YoY from $134 million. Lower service provider revenues were responsible for the lower turnover.
Rovi has announced an intent to buy TiVo, for a total consideration of approximately $1.1 billion.
