According to Portugese regulator Anacom, 28,000 new subscribers signed up to pay-TV services in Q1’16 compared to Q4’15. The total number of subscribers was more than 3.5 million – up 150,000 (4.4%) on Q1’15. Cable TV had a 38% share; DTH had 17.1%; and xDSL/IP took 20.8%.
