New B&O TVs Uncovered in Documents

Danish website Recordere.dk has uncovered references to new TVs from Bang & Olufsen, after the company invited members of the press to an event at IFA on the 31st August.

Customs documents, FCC filings and other sources show that there will be three new TV lines from B&O this year. They are likely to be launched in the Autumn.

First is the Beovision 14 – apparently a successor to the Beovision 11. The TV will feature UltraHD resolution and streaming support, Android TV and a Bluetooth remote. Customs documents reference 40″ (BV14-40) and 55″ (BV14-55) sets.

A new Avant TV will also be launched, with documents pointing to the ‘BeoVision Avant NG’. It is expected that this model will also feature UltraHD resolution and streaming, with Android TV and a Bluetooth remote. The design will be similar to today’s Avant models, but with a new rear plate and floor stand.

Finally, references were uncovered to a new ‘Horizon’ TV, in 40″ and 48″ sizes. This model is though to be the successor to the (relatively) affordable BeoPlay V1.
