Exertis has appointed Fabrice Pierga as its new country director in France. Pierga will manage all of Exertis’s operations in France aside from Exertis CUC, which handles cables and connectors. Pierga was CEO of CPM for eight years, before joining Exertis in January this year.

LG’s 2015 OLEDs; EF9500 (EF950V) and EG920V, can finally now stream Netflix in HDR quality thanks to an update that was released earlier this week. The update was done as a free over-the-air software update enabling the 2015 LG OLED TVs to stream select TV series and movies from Netflix in HDR10 format.
Lenovo reported Q2 2016 net profit of $173 million, up 64% YoY. Turnover was $10.1 billion, down 6% YoY. Improvement in net profit was credited to cost cutting measures. Smartphone revenue was flat at $1.7 billion, while PCs & tablets accounted for $7 billion.

AOC has shown off a new VR headset at Gamescom in Cologne. Stefan Sommer, director of marketing and business management EMEA, said that the entry into the HMD market is a “natural step” for the company.
