Germany’s Data Display Group has launched a new version of its 55″ LCD video wall display. This model has lower brightness and a thicker bezel than its previous screen, at 500 cd/m² (vs 700 cd/m²) and 9.2mm (vs 5.7mm). Other specifications, such as 1920 x 1080 resolution and 178° viewing angles, are the same. The DDG will launch the display in Q3.

InFocus has shared European pricing for its IN1116LC and IN1118HDLC DLP projectors. They will cost €1,030 (IN1116LC) and €1,350 (IN1118HDLC).

OLED-Info has spotted a price reduction being applied to LG‘s E6 OLED TVs on Amazon.com. The 65″ model now costs $5,000 (originally $7,000) and the 55″ is down to $3,500.

Details of the 99.5″ FWD-100ZD9501 LCD TV have been announced by Sony. It is part of the firm’s new ultra-premium Z9 range, with Backlight Master Drive technology. It is an UltraHD TV that can be used as a professional display, operating for 17 hours and featuring an RS232 jack. It can be used in portrait or landscape modes. Sony will launch the display in October.
