A brand new CBS game show where contestants play a super-sized version of Candy Crush hasn’t even started yet and it’s already breaking records.
The new show has achieved the Guinness World Record for the world’s largest touch screen display.
The giant touch screen, made up of 55 smaller MultiTaction screens, utilises infrared cameras that can differentiate between hands and feet. Contestants will be tasked with swinging and sliding across the 25′ (7.6m) tall display, swiping the candies to try and make a match and win $100,000.
Josh Silberman, Executive Producer of Candy Crush, said:
“MultiTaction’s unique touch video walls were the only technology I could trust to build the Candy Crush world record-breaking walls. MultiTaction worked tirelessly with our teams to bring these things to life”.

We have had a number of comments on the Display Daily website pointing out other big touch displays are around, including a projected image at the Cirque du Soleil ‘Ka‘ show at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas that is 50′ x 25′ (15.25m x 7.61m) and has been in operation since 2004.
