The Philips Moda 2 (275C5QHAW), from MMD, is a 27″ display in the C-Line with a focus on style and audio. Using Bluetooth, users can stream music wirelessly to be played from the display’s dual 7W speakers. The outer bezel is also only 2.5mm thick, with an inner bezel of 3.5mm.
Eye fatigue is handled by flicker-free technology (PWM), with SmartContrast to optimise black levels and SmartImage offering several visual presets.
An AH-IPS panel provides 1920 x 1080 resolution; 178 deg viewing angles; a 1,000:1 contrast ratio; and 14ms response time (5ms using SmartResponse). Brightness is 250 cd/m². MHL-HDMI and HDMI (x2) ports are featured. The stand also enables -5 deg – 20 deg tilt.
MMD is selling the Moda 2 now, for £235 ($370) ex VAT.
