Microvision said that it has signed an licence agreement with a Taiwanese ODM for its PicoP technology and the ODM has an agreement to make and sell Laser Beam Scanning (LBS) engines. Microvision will receive a royalty for each engine sold, although components will be sourced from third parties.
The agreement follows on from the deal between Microvision and STMicroelectronics. (MicroVision and STMs Collaborate on MEMs)
