Mexico Gives Away Almost 3 Million Digital TVs

Mexico’s Federal Telecommunications Institute has distributed around 2.8 million digital TVs to poor families in the country, as the nation prepares to switch off analogue signals. A total of 13 million TVs and STB converters will be subsidised by the government as part of the scheme. ASO is due to be completed by the end of this year.
