Maverick AV Solutions has announced a new distribution agreement with Zoom Video Communications. Maverick will help Zoom expand its global footprint, beginning with North America and Europe, enabling growth into new customer segments, and support the growth of Zoom Rooms, the company’s workplace collaboration solution.
The Zoom platform integrates with hardware systems, allowing customers to use existing room equipment or upgrade to create an experience to suit their meeting and collaboration style. It can be used in many kinds of collaboration spaces, from small focus rooms or offices to training and broadcasting centres.
Maverick says it will draw on its ecosystem of collaboration vendors to work with the Zoom team globally and build tailored solutions to help integrators create room systems. Zoom is already partnered with a number of Maverick’s vendors including Logitech, Dell and Crestron.
Maverick AV Solutions is a solution business of Tech Data, an end-to-end distributor of technology products, services and solutions.
Analyst Comment
As we mentioned in our Infocomm report, Zoom , which was formed by the original developers of the Webex technology, was getting a lot of ‘buzz’ from collaboration product companies at the show. (BR)
