Many TV Panel Prices up in January

Witsview of Taiwan said that TV panels have continued to rise in price, with 40″ and 43″ panels up $2 to $3 on the month and with 49″ and 50″ up by $3 to $5. 65″ panels are up by $5 to $10, as the company said that Chinese makers are struggling with yield on this size, causing supply to get tighter. On the other hand 55″ panels are flat on price and 32″ down by $1. Notebook panels are slightly down and monitor panels are flat.
