LG told us about its HU80KA UltraHD projector at CES 2018 and has now made it available to consumers at a starting price of $2,999.99.
Loewe of Germany has added a 65″ OLED model to its Bild 3 line up. It joins the 55″ OLED and 49″ and 43″ LCD models in the series. (LDM Vol 25 #18 Product Roundup). The unit is expected to become available during the next month in many regions and the 3.65 will cost around $5,000 + VAT, although local pricing may vary. Features include an 80W soundbar and HDR10, Dolby Vision and HLG support.
RDS in the UK is now supplying two displays, (7″ – 1024 x 600 and 10.1″ – 1280 x 800) with touch which can be supported with a single USB connection to support both the touch functions and to power the display.
Shenzen Jingcan Opto-Tec has a new four sided ‘Cube’ display using SMD LEDs. The cabinet is 576mm x 576mm and the overall size is 3.648m(H) x 6.144m(W). The company didn’t release many other details. but did say that the cabinet features a 45º bevel design to allow the sharp corners.
