Chief has new slim display cabinets that can be less than 10cm (4″) thick, where the display is less than 70mm (2.75″) thick. The cabinets are available for 49″, 50″ and 55″ sizes.

JVC now has pricing for its new 31″ monitors that it showed at NAB earlier this year. (JVC Adds HDR Monitors) The DT-U31 is priced at $4,995 and will be available in November, while the DT?U31PRO is priced at $8,495 and will be available in early 2019.

NEC has updated its InfinityBoard collaboration displays which use the InGlass touch technology. The displays are now being produced in 55″ (3720-INF2-55), 65″ (3720-INF2-65), 75″ (3720-INF2-75) and 86″ (3720-INF2-86) although the 65″ will not ship until early in 2019. The camera is from Huddly and there are 40W ‘conference’ speakers. There is an OPS slot-in PC that features an Intel Core i7 CPU, 8 GB of RAM (DDR4), 128 GB M.2 SSD, Dual band wireless 802.11ac + Bluetooth 4.2, TPM (Trusted Platform Module), and comes pre-installed with Microsoft Windows 10 Professional OS.

Newtek has a new box, the Connect Spark Pro, which costs $995, which can support the conversion of UltraHD at up to 60fps via HDMI into a signal that works in Newtek’s NDI video over IP technology.

Nova Star has a new 2-in-1 video controller and processor, the VX6S, that is intended for rental solutions. The processor supports inputs up to 1920 x 1200 resolution and has seven input sources with USB playback and six Ethernet outputs that support cascading. The controller supports three layers and has an OSD. A switching mode allows for preview with one button ‘push-to-screen’.

The controller is now being sold by Ledcon in Germany.

Panasonic has added Baanto’s Shadowsense touch technology to three of its 55″ video wall displays (TH-55VF1-SST and TH-55LFV70-SST at 700 cd/m² and TH-55LFV8-SST at 500 cd/m² ). A range of different arrays are supported up to 4 x 3 displays.

PNY has started taking orders for Nvidia Quadro RTX 6000 and RTX 5000 graphics boards based on the new Nvidia Turing GPUs. The boards will ship at the beginning of November.
