The Chinese paper, the Economic Daily News (EDN), quoting IHS as the source, has reported that panel purchases from the top Chinese TV makers will grow by 17% in Q3 and by 14% in Q4. Demand from Korea is likely to fall by 11% and 12% in the same quarters compared to last year. That will mean that the Taiwanese suppliers, AUO and Innolux will look to China to replace the demand.
