SES has announced that it is now serving 317 million homes worldwide, including 156 million in Europe. 5 million new homes were added in the past year, and there has been 23% growth since 2011: the equivalent of adding a TV market the size of Poland each year! Satellite remains the most popular platform and has remained at a largely similar level to last year. However, IPTV growth is eating into terrestrial and cable market shares.
