AOC has a new USB monitor, the I1601FWUX which can support power and graphics from a PC using a single USB Type-C cable. The 15.6″ IPS display with FullHD resoluton allows multi-display operation away from a desk. Although the display is based on IPS technology, viewing angle is claimed at just 160º both vertically and horizontally and response time is 5ms. Typical brightness is 220 cd/m². Power consumption is 8W.
The monitor has a cover that can be used as a stand. It costs £199 in the UK ($215 + tax)
