Hannspree’s first UltraHD monitor, the HU282PPS, is described as an open-frame gaming and industrial display unit. The company announced the display as part of its Q3 monitor product portfolio.
Designed for OEMs and system integrators, the HU282PPS will be a 28″ unit with a TN panel. It will have a 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 60Hz refresh rate, 5ms response time and 170°/160° viewing angles. 10-bit colour will be supported. Brightness will be 280 cd/m² and the monitor will use toughened anti-glare cover glass.
DisplayPort, HDMI (x2) and DVI ports will be featured. The monitor will be capable of tilting between -5° and 15°. A price has not been shared.
Other new monitors to be released in Q3 will include the HQ271HPG, a 27″ 1920 x 1080 unit; 24″ HP246PJB, with an ergonomic stand; and 19″ HX193DRP, a commercial open-frame monitor.
