Fujitsu’s Mobile Workstation is Close to Desktop Performance

Fujitsu has released its ‘most powerful ever’ mobile workstation, which brings the product category closer to the performance of desktop units.

Available now, the Celsius H760 is a 15.6″ workstation can accomplish all that a desktop model can do, including CAD/CAM work. It uses the Quadro M2000M graphics platform (based on Nvidia’s Maxwell architecture), and either Intel Core (i5/i7) or Xeon processors. Windows 10 or Windows 7 Professional 64-bit can be installed.

Security is handled through an integrated SmartCard reader and Trusted Platform Module 2.0. Optionally, users can install the PalmSecure biometric authentication system and/or a fingerprint reader.

The display can be either 1920 x 1080 or UltraHD. Both types are anti-glare, with an IPS panel (500:1/400:1 contrast ratio, respectively) and 300 cd/m² of brightness.

Up to 64GB of RAM can be installed, depending on processor type. Dual-core processors feature two DIMM RAM slots, quad-core units feature four slots. Storage is between 256GB (SSHD) and 1TB (HDD).

DisplayPort, VGA, USB-C, USB 3.0 (x2), USB 2.0 and RJ45 ports are featured, as well as Fujitsu’s port replicator – enabling the workstation to connect to Lifebook notebooks and Stylistic convertible PCs.

Price is available on request, depending on region and configuration.
