As we have reported, Sony has switched developments in its broadcast monitor business to LCD and would like to abandon OLED (although because of customer demand, it is continuing to supply for now), but the company seems to have stopped supplying the one or two customers that bought just the panel from the firm. One of these is Flanders Scientific, which has dramatically increased the price of its OLED monitor (the DM250) which has upset some buyers. According to a Reddit post, the company has increased the price, first to $11,995 and then to $25,000 as the company is trying to slow the rate that its remaining units are sold.
