eTulipa Production Starts in Taiwan

We covered eTulipa’s ‘2nd generation’ electrowetting technology in a Display Daily a couple of years ago (Etulipa Developing Electrowetting for Public Display). Now the company has told us that it has its first production line in operation in Taiwan and sent us a link to a video showing the process (below). The company had told us that it had a deal with United Radiant Technology so we assume that is who is making the technology, especially as the company was on the United booth at Electronica towards the end of 2016

The company said that its copy signs will be going on sale in the US, as planned.

Analyst Comment

As usual, it has taken a little longer than forecast to get to production, but congratulations to eTulipa for getting to this point! (BR)
