Eizo has designed a lossless encoding and streaming tool for mission-critical applications. The Re/Vue Pro supports stream resolutions up to DCI-4k, and is designed for the air traffic control (ATC) market.
Two interfaces are featured on the unit: DVI, handling up to 2048 x 2160 at 60Hz, and DisplayPort, handling up to 4096 x 2160 at 60Hz. These interfaces feature compression ratios of 30,000:1 and 8,000:1, respectively, to minimise required storage. Eizo says that bandwidth usage is less susceptible to peaks, due to intelligent sampling of the video source.
Redundancy is provided in the form of dual ethernet outputs and dual external power supplies. Remote configuration and diagnostic monitoring of connected Re/Vue devices are supported through fully detailed APIs and Simple Network Management Protocol interface details.
The Re/Vue Pro is independent of platform and graphics cards, so is unaffected by changes in the connected system. Eizo will show the unit at the World ATM Congress in Madrid, from the 8th – 10th March.
