SES said that it welcomes appeal decisions by the European Court of Justice that support complaints by the European Commission about state aid to the DTT industry in Spain. (Spanish Subsidies Were Illegal, Says EU Court). Five of the six decisions went in favour of the Commission, while the sixth was turned down on technical grounds.
SES believes that this opens the door to more even competition in the country.
